Why we built Belvedere Estate Booking
Belvedere's bookings already live on the estate's events calendar in Google Calendar. The booking site was built around that calendar, so members can ask for a space online and staff keep the final say on every booking.
How Belvedere Estate Booking works
Belvedere Estate offers the Main House, the Tudor House, a conference center, its grounds and the East Garden Tour. Members get in with one shared community passphrase, so nobody needs an account. They browse each offering with photos and prices, see floor plans or seating layouts and capacity for the three buildings, check open dates and send a booking request.
Each request becomes a tentative hold, and the member sees an estimate as soon as it is sent. Staff see pending requests first in their own view. Once they confirm a request, the site makes a numbered invoice PDF. A link to pay online is built and waiting to be switched on.
Community members can also reserve individual Training Center rooms by the hour. Those bookings are free, and the pastor confirms each one.
What Belvedere Estate Booking does
Four spaces and a garden tour
The Main House, Tudor House, Conference Center, grounds and East Garden Tour, each with photos and prices. The three buildings also show floor plans or seating layouts and capacity, and the tour takes groups of up to 30.
Open dates at a glance
A two-month calendar shows which dates are booked, on hold or open. It is built to read the estate's Google Calendar and uses a saved copy of it until that connection is switched on.
Estimate first, invoice after review
The member sees an estimate when the request goes in. Once staff confirm it, the site makes a numbered invoice PDF.
Wedding inquiries
Members send a wedding inquiry instead of a booking request. It skips the automatic estimate, and staff follow up with a custom proposal.
Staff view
Pending requests come first, then a list of invoices and every upcoming and past booking by date, each showing its status, the space and who booked it. Staff can filter by space.
